Alexis Jade

Alexis Jade is a singer-songwriter and Memphis native, immersed in the musical scene within various projects. Leading as the front woman of Alexis Jade and the Gemstones, she curates a sound of raw emotion and stage presence seasoned with years of performance throughout the mid-south. 

Her unique approach to country classics, alternative ballads, and blues standards is a culmination of consistent solo, duo, and full band collaborations with some of Memphis’ best. 

 Josh Green is a North Mississippi musician and a curator of good vibes. Whether he is weaving melodies on electric guitar, writing songs, or stepping into someone else's creative vision, Josh is confident in his belief that music is at its best when it is a fusion of art and community. 

Well-traveled and shaped by late-night stages, you can find him crafting cosmic country soundscapes with Alexis Jade and the Gemstones and lending his guitar to collaborative efforts across the Memphis music scene.

Carter Wenger is a Memphis-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and sonic collaborator who has performed with groups from the Mississippi Delta to eastern Appalachia since 2008. Raised by professional musicians living on opposite sides of the Memphis/North Mississippi border  he has spent much of his life listening closely to the myths and melodic sensibilities of the American South. 

His present-day work as a vocalist and accompanist on bass, acoustic, and electric guitar reflects these decisive encounters with the regional idioms of Memphis soul, hill country blues, zydeco, and bluegrass. In addition to his appearances with the Delta Current and Alexis Jade and the Gemstones, he performs often around the Memphis scene in live ensembles of all sizes while quietly building his own songbook. 

Jon Gaines is a Nesbit, MS dad who lives to create and collaborate across the Memphis music scene. For Jon, it is all about supporting the song and the community, whether he is holding down the low end on bass, tracking drums, producing, or playing his weird double-neck guitar. 

Today, you can find him locked in a psychedelic groove with his wife in Arc of Quasar, delivering timeless soul with Supreme Imperial, or blending indie-country hooks with Alexis Jade and the Gemstones.
